The pride of Uganda is the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It’s the home of more than half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, which makes it a popular destination for gorilla tracking. The park is a protected UNESCO world heritage site where different varieties of wildlife, breath-taking sceneries, and rich flora and fauna can be found. You can experience hours with a gorilla family in their natural habitat in this destination. Birdwatching is also a favorite activity at the park where you can encounter about 350 species of birds such as the Short-tailed Warbler and the Blue-headed Sunbird. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park also possesses rivers and waterfalls that will stun you away. Trekking, hiking, and guided walks are the main activities in this destination. Different trails offer varying sceneries and experiences. The Muyanga Waterfall Walk is one of the many paths that will let you cross the River Ivi-Nkuringo until you reach the majestic waterfalls with plummeting waters from 33 meters high. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park highlights primate life and numerous trails, which is many hikers include the park to their list when they visit Uganda.
