Founded in 2009 by Peter Robert, a former tour guide and driver, Gosheni Safaris has grown into one of Africa’s premier safari operators. Safari Options

We offer a wide range of excellent safari options. You can choose between tour packages, or you can customize your tour with the help of our team. Make your safari dream come true with us, and witness stunning African landscapes, diverse cultures, encounter wildlife and do various activities. Despite offering an authentic African experience, we don’t compromise the comfort of our clients.

Alteration to Tours

The right is reserved to change any route or arrangements should conditions require to offer substitutes of equal value or to cancel the operation of any scheduled safari. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which event a reasonable amount will be refunded.

Transportation

Gosheni Safaris distinguishes itself with a fleet of over 50 self-owned vehicles, including 5 to 7-seater custom safari Land Cruisers featuring pop-up roofs for optimal game viewing and sightseeing. Our commitment to comfort and safety is evident in the meticulous maintenance of each vehicle, equipped with HF long-range radios for seamless communication, all overseen by our dedicated in-house mechanics.

Departures

All our african safaris depart daily and are based on a minimum of 2 persons. Prices will be lower with 3 or more participants. Please advise us of the number travelling when you make an enquiry so that we can provide you with an accurate quotation.

Accommodation

We offer a range of accommodations from standard camps and lodges to high luxury options. Depending on your preferences, you can enjoy amenities from basic comforts to exclusive features like spas, bathtubs, and pools.

Hot Safari Lunch

As Director of Gosheni Safaris, his goal is to make sure that tour guides deliver successfully. Peter enjoys the travel business as it allows him to share experiences, points of views and ideas.

Merlin

Merlin handles sales. She loves the outdoors and a big fan of nature. She is loved by our guests for her attentiveness in dealing with customers, fast responses, and eagerness to help at all times.

Lidya

Our Guides

Safari guides are a crucial part of a successful safari. Hence, we invest in regular training to keep our guides abreast of customer service standards and to ensure that the highest standards are achieved. All our guides are fluent and articulate in conversational English and some can converse in other foreign languages including, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. With their help, our clients will learn about African wildlife as well as acquiring first-hand experience of African hospitality.

Our Responsibilities

Conduct pre-departure briefings for your safari tour.
Operate specially designed safari vehicles for game viewing.
Our guides are skilled in wildlife tracking and offer insights on each park visited and the animals observed.
Provide information about each parks visited, animals spotted, and all other educational and interesting information about African Wildlife in general. Our guides also have an intensive knowledge of the local African flora and fauna, geography and animal behavior patterns.

Our Vehicles

Explore in comfort and style with our fleet of meticulously maintained vehicles, ensuring safety and luxury throughout your journey.

Spare Tires & Heavy-Duty Jack

We carry two spare tires and a heavy-duty jack. Having two spares is better than having one due to poor roads in some areas, and presence of acacia thorns.

Cooler Box

All our vehicles have a small fridge to keep beverages cold. This is not to be taken for granted especially after a long day out in the savannah.

Extended and Wider

We extended and widened the body of the vehicles to allow more space to move around and to get the best photographic angles without “bumping” into each other.

Wild Life Books and Maps

You will find a set of books and guides about mammals and birds. There are maps of the area as well.

Power Inverters

All our vehicles have 110v and 220v power adapters to make it possible to charge camera batteries.

Larger Windows

We made all the windows in the vehicle as large as possible so guests can have a better viewing experience.

Coffee Box

We have a coffee box with snacks, coffee and tea that can be enjoyed at anytime on a game drive.

First Aid Kit

Every safari vehicle is equipped with a first aid kit. Our guides are trained to use this in case of emergencies.
