After breakfast at the hotel, set off on your day excursion in and around Nairobi, starting with the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch delightful orphan elephants during feeding time while they frolic with their keepers. Enjoy lunch at a nearby café followed by a shopping stop at Utamaduni, where you’ll see a great selection of African art and crafts. Continue to the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to feed magnificent Rothschild’s giraffes before returning to your base hotel.

After breakfast at your base hotel, you’ll set off in your 4WD vehicle towards Namanga with your safari guide. As soon as you enter Amboseli National Park, your game viewing will commence. After lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge, limitless adventures, discoveries, and delights await young guests with activities designed to give them the chance to explore the breathtaking beauty of Amboseli and enjoy the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of the Maasai people. If you accept an invitation to plant an acacia tree as part of the Amboseli Reforestation Project a partnership between Gosheni Adventures Safaris and the Lodges, you’ll receive a commemorative certificate. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Set off early on your morning game drive in anticipation that Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-covered peak is clear, and enjoy a private family breakfast at Observation Hill. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the many lakes and springs fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snows in search of Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds. Spend as little or as long as you like on safari in your private Safari vehicle. Children can participate in guided nature walks as well as learn about the Maasai warriors, how to do Maasai beadwork and all about animal-tracking techniques. Flexible dining schedules are available to suit your family, with lunch and dinner at your base hotel.

After breakfast at your base hotel in Amboseli, depart for the Great Rift Valley. The shallow alkaline soda lakes of Lake Elementaita and Lake Nakuru are famous for their flamingo flocks, which gather to feed and breed along the lakeshore. Lunch and dinner at the base hotel, with free time in between. Your Safari guide will arrange some special activities. With dinner and overnight at your base hotel.

Loldia House/ Mbweha Camp/ Chui Lodge
After breakfast at your base hotel, visit nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos and as a breeding sanctuary for both black and white rhino. Here, enjoy a guided trek along the lakeshore and a game drive. You can relax with a picnic lunch before returning to your lodge, or you may venture a little further to Lake Baringo and spend the day bird and game viewing around the lake with a picnic lunch at the hot springs. Dinner and overnight at your base hotel.

After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley floor and enter Masai Mara National Reserve, where you immediately begin game viewing, passing wildlife herds on the vast savannah plains. Arrive at Governors’ Camp, with its family tents, in time for lunch followed by a late afternoon game drive. Dinner is at your base hotel.

Enjoy two full days of exceptional game viewing in the Masai Mara following herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, eland, topi, impala and many other wildlife species. Lion, leopard, and cheetah are also found here in greater numbers and density than elsewhere in Africa. Your Safari guide can arrange an extended game viewing drive, traveling further from other vehicles and visitors with a picnic lunch provided by your camp. All other meals are taken at the base hotel, including a special dinner under the stars.
