KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK LIES IN THE RUGGED, SEMI-ARID VALLEYS BETWEEN UGANDA’S BORDERS WITH SUDAN AND KENYA, SOME 700KM FROM KAMPALA. GAZETTED AS A NATIONAL PARK IN 1962, IT HAS A PROFUSION OF BIG GAME AND HOSTS OVER 77 MAMMAL SPECIES AS WELL AS AROUND SPECIES. IT’S ONE OF AFRICA’S MOST MAGNIFICENT WILDERNESSES, WITH BIG GAME FAVORITES ELEPHANTS, GIRAFFES, ELANDS, HYENAS, CHEETAH, BUFFALOES, OSTRICHES AND A VARIETY OF BIRD SPECIES.

Early pickup from an agreed destination, then we transfer to Jinja and our way we will have a stopover at Sezibwa Falls part of the Kabaka’s trail. Then proceed to Jinja for the source of the Nile and the Gandhi monument excursions. Have lunch and then transfer to Sipi Falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Early breakfast, then hike to the falls as you enjoy the beauty of Sipi Falls. This experience is like no other. We will have a lot of photography to create lasting memories before we head back for lunch and continue to Nyero Rock Paintings. These are historical caves that have ancient paintings believed to be over 2000yrs of age. There are lots of learnings here to understand how people of those times lived life. Proceed to Soroti and check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast, then take on the rock climbing activity for another exciting view of the city and more caves to explore. Return by 10 am and then travel to the famous Kidepo Valley National Park.

Early morning game drive and afternoon visit to Karamojong community with lunch and dinner at the lodge.
This day introduces us to the vast plains of Kidepo with lots of opportunities to spot rare wildlife species not found anywhere else in Uganda.
These include but not limited to cheetahs, lions, elephants and much more. Actually, its perennial waters attract large numbers of Elephants and a thousand-strong buffalo herds, especially during the dry season. It is in here where we can also spot the Ostrich birds, if lucky. In the afternoon we shall make visits to the local communities-the local dances and craft shops here are some stuff to entertain us.

Early Breakfast, check out and embark on quite a long – over 10hrs – but worthy journey via Gulu town, Karuma Falls. (At extra fees some clients charter private choppers direct to Entebbe Airport – we can arrange that)
We definitely have stops for lunch and also at the various interesting sites like the view of the Falls on the Main road, but we shall reach Kampala early evening.
