Ol Pejeta House
Ol Pejeta Sanctuary, Kenya
About This Property
The Experience
Ol Pejeta House is a private lodge in Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the Laikipia plains, about 17 km from Nanyuki, with views of Mount Kenya. It was built in 1978 as the country home of Saudi businessman Adnan Khashoggi, and one room still has his enormous double bed. The red-tiled main house has two suites and two standard rooms, with two more rooms in the separate Buffalo Cottage, so it suits a family or small group. There are two swimming pools, and the conservancy's chimpanzee sanctuary and endangered species enclosure are within reach on game drives.
