The Experience
Porini Lion Camp is a small tented camp on the Ntiakitiak River in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, on the northern border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It has 10 en-suite tents with verandas facing the river, a dining tent and a lounge tent, and runs on solar power with no permanent structures. The conservancy limits vehicle numbers and allows off-road driving, night drives and walks with Maasai guides, none of which are possible in the reserve itself. Full-day trips into the reserve can be added.
