Your Itinerary
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park through the scenic country sides of western Uganda. We pass by Kigezi hills with nice terraces through the “scenic little Switzerland” of Uganda. We take lunch on the way and arrive late in the evening at Bwindi national park for dinner and overnight at Luxurious Gorilla resort camp or Buhoma Community bandas. Full board meals.
After breakfast, we get briefing from the guides then proceed to the forest for Gorilla tracking. The time it takes to encounter the gorillas is unpredictable so we will have packed lunch with us. We will have enough time to spend with the endangered gorillas before we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park with a game drive en route through the Ishasha sector. Here, you will see tree climbing lions, bush bucks, antelopes and many other animals. You will arrive for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will be driven to the crater lakes region to view the various crater lakes around the park plus the Lake Katwe where salt is traditionally mined in the park.
Very early in the morning, we drive to Kasenyi track for a morning game drive in search for animal like the Leopards, Lions, Elephants, and Hyenas among many others. In the afternoon, we go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of water birds.
We drive to Nyakasura via fort portal town to Visit the ‘Amebere ga Nyinamwiru’ caves to view the stalactites and the stalagmite. Then proceed to Kibale National park for dinner and over night at Ndali lodge, Kanyankyu tourist centre or in Fort portal where you can stay at Rwenzori view guest house.
After breakfast, assemble at Kanyankyu tourist centre for a morning chimp tracking and then we go on a swamp walk for a variety of primates like the Vervet Monkey, L’hoest Monkey, Black and white and the Red colobus Monkeys, Olive Baboons and many others. In the afternoon, you will be taken for a nature walk around Bigodi swamp to view the various bird species in the park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala via fort portal Mubende road.
