The Experience
Chem Chem Lodge is a small safari lodge in the Burunge Wildlife Management Area, a wildlife corridor between Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks. It has seven tented suites and one family unit, built from canvas, wood and stone, each with an ensuite bathroom and a private veranda, set well apart along wooden walkways. Facilities include a swimming pool, a gym, a spa, a safari boutique and Wi-Fi. Chem Chem promotes slow safaris, with walks, game drives inside and outside the parks, and visits to Maasai and Barabaig communities. It closes from early April to mid-May.
