The Experience
Elephant Bedroom Camp is a small tented camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve, about 12 km from Archer's Post. Its 14 tents each have a private plunge pool on the deck and river views, and the deluxe tents add a bathtub and indoor and outdoor showers. Meals are served in an open dining tent overlooking the river, on the veranda or in the bush. Game drives take a maximum of six guests per vehicle, and visits with Samburu warriors can be arranged. Elephants are frequent visitors along this stretch of river.
