About This Property
The Experience
Olakira Migration Camp is an Asilia seasonal tented camp that follows the Great Migration. From June to October it sits in the Bolongonja area of the northern Serengeti, within reach of the Mara River crossings, and from December to March it moves south to Ndutu for the calving season. Its signature feature is a mesh-enclosed stargazing section on a wooden deck attached to each tent, so guests can sleep under the night sky. Tents have ensuite bathrooms with solar-heated showers, and the camp runs on solar power with a backup generator. It closes in April, May and November.
