3-day Kruger safari itinerary
Our professional Driver/Guide will pick you up in Johannesburg in an air-conditioned vehicle and transfer you via the scenic Panorama Route to Kruger Park. En-route we will visit Pilgrim’s Rest, God’s Window and the Graskop Falls. We will arrive at Hippo Hollow Lodge (or similar) in the afternoon where you will have time to check-in and freshen up before we depart on a game drive in the Kruger National Park.
You will depart on either an afternoon game drive or a sunset game drive (where you will get your first experience on an open 4X4 Safari vehicle.) The late afternoon offers the lower light game viewing with most animals heading down to the watering holes and offers excellent game viewing opportunities.
Your professional field guide will advise you of your pick-up time for this morning. You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning on your full day game drive in an Open 4X4 Safari Vehicle.
We will enter Kruger National Park and enjoy a full day game drive on this day. We will stop several times during the day for you to freshen up and to stretch your legs. Your Professional Field Guide will ensure that you see the wildlife Kruger Park is renowned for and give you interesting facts and information on all aspects of the African Bush and Wildlife. (With a bit of luck, you will be able to add the Big Five to your “spotting-list”) We will enjoy breakfast at one of the Kruger Park Camps (packed by the lodge). We will also visit the Skukuza Main Camp of the Kruger Park.
We will return in the afternoon to your Lodge where the rest of the evening will be at leisure. Dinner can be enjoyed at the Lodge.
We will once again collect you for an early morning game drive to try and find the illusive animals that you might have missed on your previous drives. After your Early Morning Game Drive, we will return to the lodge. Once you have checked out your professional Driver/Guide will be waiting to transfer you back to Johannesburg in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle.
