Boat trips weave between hippo pods and basking crocodiles to fish-eagle feeding displays and cliff colonies of Verreaux's eagles and hornbills. The Njemps community around the lake, unusual pastoralists who also fish, welcome cultural visits, and island camps offer some of the Rift's most tranquil nights.
