About Blyde River Canyon
Blyde River Canyon is among the largest canyons on earth, and unlike its desert rivals, it is draped in subtropical forest. From the rim, the Three Rondavels rise like giant thatched huts above a winding turquoise reservoir, while God's Window opens onto a 900-metre drop to the Lowveld. Bourke's Luck Potholes, waterfalls and forest trails string along the rim road. It is the scenic climax of the Panorama Route and the classic approach to Kruger's private reserves.
