5-Day Tanzania Low Season Safari

From US$1,620 per person for six travellers sharing the vehicle. It is US$1,675 per person for five, US$1,760 for four, US$1,900 for three and US$2,175 for two. The single supplement is US$325, and the optional hot air balloon safari is US$550 per person. Prices are in USD and include park and crater fees, four nights' accommodation, your private vehicle and guide.

Travel in November 2026 and May 2027. Outside those two months the same itinerary is quoted at the season's normal rates.

Yes, if you are happy with some rain. November has the short rains, usually brief afternoon showers, and May is the end of the long rains. The parks are green and quiet, you share sightings with fewer vehicles, and the camps charge less. Resident wildlife in Tarangire, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater is there all year.

Possibly, but no one can promise it. The herds follow the rain. In November they are usually moving south through the Serengeti towards the southern plains, and in May they are often in the central and western Serengeti. You spend two nights in Central Serengeti, and your guide will take you to wherever the herds are that week.

It starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha on the first morning and ends in Arusha on the afternoon of day five. Airport transfers and hotel nights in Arusha are not included, but we can book them. If you are flying in, the 6-day version adds the Kilimanjaro Airport pick-up and a first night in Arusha.

Yes. The vehicle and guide are only for your group of two to six travellers, and nobody else joins. Solo travellers can ask us for a quote.
