Distance: 195km/3hrs. drive 08:00am pick up ____________at hotel in Arusha Travel/activity: A drive guide of Gosheni Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha town. From here you will be driven to Ngorongoro Conservation area with picnic lunch upon arrival descend to the crater floor for the crater tour. In the evening drive to your camp. Distance: 95km /1.5hrs drive Travel/activity: After breakfast to your accommodation drive to Ndutu area in Ngorongoro with picnic lunch, enjoy game drive searching for wildebeest calving with in the Ndutu area until later drive to your camp for evening rest and dinner Transportation: 4WD Safari Land Cruiser with pop up roof
After breakfast at your camp, you set out into the Ndutu area for a full day of game drives, with a picnic lunch packed for the middle of the day. The short-grass plains here are where the wildebeest herds gather to give birth, so you spend your time among the animals as they move, graze and nurse their young. Predators follow the herds, and you may come across lion, cheetah or hyena on the lookout, along with the resident wildlife of the area.
Your guide reads the plains as the day goes on, choosing routes that keep you close to the action without crowding it, and you stop for lunch in the open before continuing your exploration through the afternoon. As the light softens, you make your way back to camp for dinner and a night's rest.
After breakfast at camp, set off for another full day of game drives in the Ndutu area, with a picnic lunch carried along so you can stay out on the plains through the middle of the day. These short-grass plains are where the wildebeest herds gather to calve, and you may see females with their newborn young, along with the predators and scavengers that the season draws to the area. Your guide will read the herds' movements through the day and choose routes accordingly, pausing for lunch at a suitable spot before continuing your game viewing into the afternoon.
You return to Siringit Migration Camp - Ndutu in the evening for dinner and a night's rest. Tomorrow brings an early start: after breakfast you head out for a morning game drive in Ndutu with a picnic lunch, then transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for your flight to Arusha.
Travel/activity: After early breakfast have an early morning game drive in Ndutu area with picnic lunch then transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for a flight to Arusha, departing at 11:20am and expected to arrive Arusha airport at 12:35am, upon arrival proceed on your own arrangements.
