Serengeti Wildebeests Migration is a display of natural wonders with over two million wildebeests, zebras, and antelope traveling over 450 miles across the plain to ensure their survival, unaware that there's danger presented by the stalking lions and cheetahs among other predators of the wildlife. Witness huge crocodiles of the Mara River as they wait for the herbivorous to cross the swollen Mara river and enter into Masai Mara Game Reserve from Serengeti National Park.
The wildebeest migration river crossing in August moves north, passing through the Lobo area (north of Central Serengeti National Park) and the Wagakuria area (remote northern Serengeti National Park along the Mara River) en-route to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Tanzania is a safari paradise with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and diverse cultures. This tour will take you to Ngorongoro Crater where you can enjoy its blue-green vistas and unparalleled concentration of wildlife; Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site and home to various wildlife, including lions, cheetahs and at certain times of the year, the wildebeest migration.
Zanzibar is located in the Indian Ocean, just 25 km off the coast of mainland Tanzania. It is famed for its historical Stone Town and stunning beaches. We will take you to interesting tours to the House of Wonders, Palace Museums, Mosques and Arab's Fort among many others. There will be a visit to spice plantations, the reason that brought the Sultans of Oman, and what started the slave trade. You will also indulge in the white sands and clear waters of Kendwa Beach for that much deserved holiday.
This amazing safari made affordable through cheaper camping options will take you to unparalleled concentration of wildlife including the Serengeti national park, the most famous park in Tanzania and where you can witness the famed Great Wildebeest Migration from July to October; Tarangire National Park, known for Tarangire river which flows all year round; and Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to an abundant wildlife such as lions and cheetahs.
The annual wildebeest migration of herds in Kenya and Northern Tanzania is one of the most spectacular wildlife events. Often referred to as the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’, The Great Wildebeest Migration is a movement of approximately 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra throughout the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems. Tanzania is a safari paradise with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and diverse cultures.
This safari is offered year round and features the most famous parks in Tanzania. From December to April you can enjoy the calving season, wherein the wildebeest complete their annual migration and head back to the rich grass plans of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania to give birth. From July to October you may witness the spectacle of the wildebeest river crossing, where more than a million animals attempt to cross the Mara River while evading the resident crocodiles.
This amazing safari will take you to the top safari destinations in Tanzania to witness the high concentration of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, and at certain times of the year, the world-renowned “Great Wildebeest Migration”. Included in the tour are Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. Another highlight of this tour is the walking safari in Lake Eyasi to witness the lifestyle of the bush men in northern Tanzania.
This safari takes you through the highlights of renowned parks of northern Tanzania. The tour starts at Tarangire, famous for its dense wildlife population then to Ngorongoro crater, which supports a year round resident population of mammals. A visit to Serengeti follows, a big game haven that hosts over 3 million large mammals. Finally, we head to Lake Manyara national park, an ornithologists’ paradise known for the elusive tree-climbing lions.
Machame, known as the "Whiskey" route, is a popular route to the mountain. Compared with Marangu, the days on Machame are longer and the walks are steeper. It is considered a difficult route, better suited for more adventurous folks, and those with some hiking or backpacking experience. Machame approaches from the southwest and descends using Mweka, rewarding climbers with views of the expansive Shira Plateau.
Tanzania is one of the best countries in Africa to witness the wildebeest migration. This tour combines Serengeti wildebeest migration with a cultural hike as well as game drive viewing in Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Park. Accommodation will be at Serena Lodges, known for their cozy ambience and facility. Indeed, a safari package with all the things you need for that well-deserved safari holiday.
The Great Wildebeest Calving Migration Safari has been designed specifically to focus on following the Great Serengeti Wildebeest migration during calving from December to April. The areas to be covered are Lake Ndutu area, as well as the Southern and Central areas of Serengeti National Park where majority of the wildebeest are usually found. A visit to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater is part of this safari as well.
The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas in Tanzania are the best locations for the months of January, February and March to witness thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard and a very good chance to see adrenalin packed kills.
The wildebeest migration river crossing beginning July, moves north and passes through the Lobo and the Wagakuria area en-route to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve. In September, the wildebeest herds are spread out over the northern Serengeti National Park and Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve. Several large herds of wildebeest remain behind in the area and weather changes may sometimes bring the herds back into the area from the Mara. In October, the herds move south towards the central Serengeti National Park via the Lobo area of the Serengeti National Park.
Bush2Beach Safari combines wildlife safari of Tanzania with Zanzibar beach holiday. Parks to be visited include Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro National Park. Finally, we cap off your safari with a relaxing beach holiday at the famous island of Zanzibar.
Lemosho is considered the most beautiful route on Kilimanjaro and grants panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. On this 8 day Lemosho route, the trek from Barranco to Barafu is divided into 2 days, allowing for a shorter period prior to the summit attempt so that climbers can rest properly. This route is a favorite pick because it offers a great balance of low traffic, scenic views and high summit-success rate.
The ultimate Safari experience in Africa. Witness The Great Migration unfold at Tanzania’s northern circuit National Parks from Kenya Masai Mara National Park. This tour will let you follow the actual movement of the wildebeest migration in Tanzania and Kenya.
This tour will take you to the most visited destination with high wildlife concentration and amazing sceneries. This place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees. In Ngorongoro, some 20,000 mammals live including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures.

Price per person: $499
Combining a beach getaway and a safari adventure is one of the ways to create an ultimate African trip! You can witness the magnificent beaches of the continent while also have a thrilling journey in the wild in just 10 days. With this tour, you make the best of your days in Africa. Visit the Aberdare National Park, Masai Mara National park, and dive in the pristine waters of Zanzibar using this itinerary.
We offer organized Tanzania Cultural Safaris that will immerse travelers in the real Tanzanian culture. The trip includes a visit to Chaga tribes, Masai tribes, and Hadzabes bushmen tribes.
Small groups of hadzabe bushmen live around lake eyasi. Their language resembles the click languages of other bushmen further south in the kalahari. Their small population was seriously threatened, in particular during the period when Julius Nyerere tried to introduce his ujuma policy. The tribe resisted the forcible settlement policies and nowadays most of their children have never seen a doctor or school – the bush provides for all their needs.
Tourists will see their simple bush homes where the tree canopy alone or a cave provides them shelter. They live entirely off the bush and from hunting, generally small antelopes and baboons. In rainy seasons, gazelles and antelopes come down from the Ngorongoro or Serengeti to their lush bush lands thereby offering them richer pickings. In the recent past, their hunting activities were resented by trophy hunters and tried to stop their “illegal” hunting.
Mount Meru is located in the heart of Arusha National Park and it is 50 miles west of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Mt. Meru is a massive volcano reaching 14,980 feet (4,565 meters). This trek serves as an ideal warm up for Mt. Kilimanjaro due to its altitude acclimatization and hiking distances. This trek is also geared toward hikers that prefer less crowds and a challenging ascent.
Also known as the “Coca Cola route” – the Marangu route is one of the most popular routes leading to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Many hikers believe that the Marangu route is the easiest route to Uhuru peak, since it is the only route which can be hiked in 5 days (making it the cheapest option). However, we strongly recommend hiking the route over 6 days to increase your chances of reaching the summit successfully. Note that this is the only route that provides communal sleeping huts, equipped with beds and mattresses at every overnight site. Some basic goods such as mineral water, beer and chocolates are also sold at most sites. The Marangu route takes the same route for both ascend and descend.
The Rongai route ascends Kilimanjaro from the northeastern side of the mountain, along the border between Tanzania and Kenya. This route retains a sense of unspoilt wilderness and offers a different perspective of Kilimanjaro by approaching it from the north. The topography of the route does not allow for the application of the climb high and sleep low principle and hikers generally suffer more from altitude sickness on the Rongai route compared to other routes (an additional acclimatization day is highly recommended on this route). The Rongai route use the scree summiting path from Kibo hut to Gilman’s point and descend via the Marangu route. The main itinerary difference between the Rongai 6 day and 7 day routes is the additional acclimatization day at Mwenzi Tarn.
Shira Plateau is one of the most scenic and most fascinating areas of Kilimanjaro and offers magnificent views of Mt. Meru and the Great Rift Valley. Shira route is only offered to hikers who are already acclimatized to 4000m. Depending on weather conditions, you can drive by 4x4 or walk for 1/2 hours to Shira Hut (4000m). Game is often sighted and the scenery changes from forest, grassland, heath to moorland. The fast ascend by vehicle to about 4000m will require additional acclimatization, after which it will be possible to ascend Uhuru Peak either via the Western Breach or via Barafu hut.
The Umbwe Route is widely regarded as the hardest trail, a tough vertical slog through the jungle, in places using the tree roots as makeshift rungs on a ladder. Because of the high risks involved with sleeping at Arrow Glacier camp and summiting via the Western Breach, all our Umbwe route hikes are re-routed, to join with the Machame route from night 2 on the mountain. On special request, we can assist with Umbwe route hikes attempting to summit using the Western Breach/ Arrow Glacier path and overnight at the Crater camp. Please note this can only be arranged through our higher quality Standard packages and a supplement rate will apply. The main itinerary difference between the Umbwe 6 day and 7 day routes is the additional acclimatization day at Barranco camp.
Instead of following the southern traverse like all the other west approaching routes, the Northern Circuit traverses the mountain around the quiet, rarely visited northern slopes. While you trek, you will see nearly 360 degrees of beautiful scenery as you traverse the mountain at 13,000 feet. As the longest route on Kilimanjaro, the Northern Circuit also has the longest acclimatization time, giving you the highest chance of reaching the summit successfully.

This safari tour will take you to the largest game reserve and 2nd largest conservation area in Africa sized at 5,000 square kilometers. This is 4 times bigger than the Serengeti and larger than the entire country of Switzerland. Welcome to Selous Game Reserve! This reserve is one of the most remote ones in Tanzania, hence least visited parks in Africa. Because of its elaborate and unique beauty, the Selous has so many safari animals and thus has it in history that UNESCO declared it a world heritage in 1982.
This beach escape will take you to two of Zanzibar's best-sought islands: Unguja also known as "Zanzibar" and Pemba. Unguja is the largest and most populated island of the Zanzibar archipelago and therefore has the most developed tourism industry. Here you will find cozy restaurants with quite a number of accommodation to choose from and activities to occupy you with. Pemba is less developed but nothing short of exotic beauty. It is known for its lush, green hills and clove plantations. The Pemba Channel, with its coral reefs and abundant marine life, separates the island from mainland Tanzania.
This safari tour will let you explore two of Africa’s largest game heavens in this Southern safari circuit of Tanzania: Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve with a pass for overnight and shallow game drive in between the parks at Mikumi National Park.
Visit one of southern circuit's spectacular parks in Tanzania, Mikumi National park. The Mikumi is bordered to the south with the Selous Game Reserve, the two areas forming a unique ecosystem. The park contains a subspecies of giraffe, that biologists consider the link between the Masai giraffe and the reticulated or Somali giraffe. Other animals in the park are elephants, zebras, impala, eland, kudu, black antelope, baboons, wildebeests and buffaloes. At about 5 km from the north of the park, there are two artificial pools inhabited by hippos. More than 400 different species of birds also inhabit the park.
This Ndutu Migration Safari During Calving tour has been designed specifically to focus on and to increase your chance to see the great Serengeti wildebeest migration.
Serengeti Great Migration has been listed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Not only does it offer incredible views of the plains dotted with huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, but the rivers are often infested with large Nile crocodiles lying in wait. Some of the best safari opportunities in the world are found here, across a landscape made up of volcanic grasslands and vast plains interrupted by rocky outcrops, rivers, and forests. Visiting the right area in the right season will treat travellers to astonishing sightings of this natural phenomenon.
These migratory herds also attract the attention of some of the continent's most renowned predators, ensuring that if travellers are following the Migration; big cats, crocodiles, and hyenas will never be too far behind.
This 7-Day The Great Serengeti Migration Safari package has been designed specifically to focus on and to increase your chance to see the great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration. We have designed the itinerary to include both the Lobo area (area north of the central Serengeti National Park) and Wagakuria area (remote northern Serengeti National Park) where the majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found from August to October. To save on unnecessary travel time and to increase your game viewing time, this itinerary has been designed that you fly back from the Serengeti National Park to Arusha town. The itinerary also include a visit to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater.
August through October, the migration heads north, out of the central Serengeti, splitting into two routes. The main group heads into the western corridor crossing the Grumeti River in spectacular stampedes. Enormous crocodiles wait patiently to snatch wildebeests as they surge across the river. The wildebeest continue to move steadily across the Grumeti region, making another perilous river crossing to cross the Mara River and reach the lush grazing in Kenya's Masai Mara.
